Her session was a mini one, a format that I often adopt for my newborn sessions. As with all my shoots, I poured my heart and soul into creating at least two unique setups for this little angel, each designed to capture a different aspect of her early days. The family made their way to my cozy home studio, nestled in North York, Toronto. There's something special about newborn photography at home. It's comfortable, it's personal, and it allows me to capture those intimate moments in an environment where the family feels most at ease. As I watched Audrey&rsquo;s family walk in, their faces lit up with a mix of exhaustion and joy that's unique to new parents, I was reminded of why I do what I do. There's a magical quality to these first few days of life, an innocence and purity that's unparalleled, and having the opportunity to capture that is a privilege I don't take lightly. The city was still stirring to life, its rhythm pulsating with the energy of the thriving metropolis. The tall, sleek skyscrapers, bathed in the golden light, provided a stunning backdrop as Nhu and Jimmy shared intimate moments, their love story unfolding frame by frame.

We decided to keep the aesthetics minimal and classic, opting for a black and white theme. This choice allowed us to focus on the couple's raw emotions and the palpable connection they shared. The monochrome palette added a timeless charm to the images, the shades of grey dancing in harmony with the city's steel and glass structures.

For the shoot, we relied on the Fujifilm X-series, specifically the Fujifilm X-H2S. The camera's superior image quality and advanced features helped us capture the couple's essence beautifully. We paired the camera with a range of lenses including the XF33mmF14, XF1655, and XF90mmF2, each one offering a unique perspective and depth.
